FAQs
Here are common questions that we receive on a daily basis. For further cleanup questions, call us today at 301-368-8110!
How is payment handled? Will my insurance pay for your services?
Many jobs are covered by homeowner’s insurance or insurance held by a landlord or business owner. For instance, crime scenes, unattended death, medical traumas, and damage from animals like raccoons and skunks are generally covered by insurance. As a result, we will take the insurance information, complete the job and work directly with the insurance company to submit the claim.
When work is not covered by insurance we will come out and give a free estimate. Prior to beginning work, we require a 50% down payment. The remaining balance must be paid when the work is complete. Unfortunately, the cleaning of mice droppings, cat urine and hoarding is generally not covered by insurance.
When should I call professional trauma cleanup company?
For instance, you should call a professional cleanup company if you do not feel safe or comfortable cleaning it yourself. Often, family members and friends cannot emotionally handle cleaning up after a traumatic event. Consequently, these people generally don’t have the right tools or experience to ensure that blood and other bio-hazards are properly cleaned. In other words, reminders of the traumatic event will linger if the odors and bacteria are not cleaned properly. Above all, if proper protection is not used, individuals doing the clean-up and others, can be in danger of becoming ill.
Whether the situation involves tear gas, suicide, accident, unattended death, hoarding or a communicable disease, calling a professional trauma clean up company can result in peace of mind that the situation has been handled. Let On Call Bio Florida help you clean up properly!
What type of cleaning process does On Call Bio Florida use? Is it safe?
Our treatment process depends on the situation at hand, because in most cases we use multiple specialty products to clean, sanitize and deodorize the affected area. As a result, our cleaning products are powerful and they are safe for the environment and people.
We also remove items that cannot be fully cleaned, like fabrics and carpeting and remove odors from the air itself.
